Structured Data

The Structured Data module adds structured data markup in Google Search by script mark, replacing the default Magento mechanism. Extension supports Products and Breadcrumbs data (loaded on the products pages).

Module configuration
The module can be configured in two ways in the CMS:
  • 9BITS -> Configuration
  • STORES -> Configuration -> NINEBITS -> Structured Data Markup

Description of individual settings

General tab

  • Enable - set this option to Yes if you want to enable module
  • Best Rating - insert best review rating (default 5)
  • Worst Rating - insert worst review rating (default 1)
  • Use Magento Reviews Values - set this option to Yes if you use default Magento reviews module
These two attributes are shown only when Use Magento Reviews Values is set as No:
  • Reviews Count Attribute - select the attribute that store review counts data
  • Rating Attribute - select the attribute that store rating data

Parts tab

These settings allow you to enable appropriate data sections:

  • Products - Adds product data, i.e. name, description, availability
  • Reviews - Adds a “review” section that contains the product rating
  • Breadcrumbs - Adds a “BreadcrumbList” section that contains the navigation menu

Breadcrumbs additional configuration
You can enable or disable a category from breadcrumbs presentation. You will find this option in editing the selected category.

Attribute Includes in Structured Data Breadcrumbs determine if category can be inserted to the Structured Data or not.
